A doctor needs to confirm the cause of death. They will certify it and submit the details online to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
Once the doctor has certified the death, the family can register it online at mylegacy.life.gov.sg. You will receive a Death Certificate, which is needed for placing an obituary and making burial or cremation arrangements.
Gather a set of clothes for your loved one and a photo (either a hard copy or soft copy) for the funeral.
